Olivia Miller
Olivia est une comédienne, chanteuse et conceptrice basée à New York, titulaire d'un MFA en art dramatique de Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company. Elle est la créatrice/interprète du seule-sur-scène BLOODY MARY : LIVE ! Autres rôles récents : Gertrude dans Hamlet, Audrey dans Little Shop of Horrors, Ensemble/Deviser dans An Acorn de Caridad Svich (création mondiale) et Viola/Cesario dans Twelfth Night. Avant sa formation à Brown/Trinity, Olivia a obtenu une licence en anglais et art dramatique à Harvard College.
Olivia trouve les racines de sa formation dans la voix classique. Son travail à l'opéra et à l'opérette comprend Gretel dans Hansel und Gretel, Naomie dans Cendrillon, Yum Yum dans The Mikado, et Josephine dans HMS Pinafore. Other recent work includes Gertrude in Hamlet, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Ensemble/Deviser in Caridad Svich's An Acorn (world premiere), and Viola/Cesario in Twelfth Night. Prior to her training at Brown/Trinity, Olivia earned her bachelor's degree in English and Dramatic Arts at Harvard College.
Olivia's roots in performance are in classical voice. Her work in opera and operetta includes Gretel in Hansel und Gretel, Naomie in Cendrillon, Yum Yum in The Mikado, and Josephine in HMS Pinafore. Olivia has also worked regionally in musicals at Greater Boston Stage, North Shore Music Theater, Reagle Music Theater, and Trinity Repertory Company. This longtime passion for voice informs and deepens her work in acting and devising, and music plays an integral part in all of her projects. As Olivia continues to venture into the artistic world, she is committed to celebrating female voices and stories, challenging gender-based expectations, and thoroughly investigating the portrayal and understanding of women in classical and contemporary canons.
Offstage, Olivia can be found feeding her love for all things Harry Potter, whether it's rereading the series or traveling across the Atlantic specifically to do Harry Potter-related activities. Her favorite book in the series is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and her favorite artifact at the Warner Brother's Studio Tour in London is the scaled replica of Hogwarts Castle (used for aerial shots in the films).
