The play is performed in both English and French.
Two actresses meet on stage. One is American, the other French; together they have to rehearse Schiller's play.
Almost immediately, their exchange becomes electric. Via the incarnation of their roles, the drama of the legendary rivalry of the two queens begins to instill itself in their actresses. The balance of power tips and tilts, making the theatre a boxing ring in which an irrational animosity dominates, a hatred constructed by the fears and stories of the men surrounding these historical figures.
But, where are these men? And where is the director - him too a man - that these women are waiting for without ever seeing him arrive? A new adaptation of the play Mary Stuart, written by Friedrich Schiller, this is the second play of the Summertide Company.

La pièce est jouée en français et anglais.
Deux comédiennes se rencontrent sur un plateau. L'une est anglophone, l'autre française; elles doivent répéter ensemble la pièce de Schiller.
Presque aussitôt, leur échange se charge d'électricité. A travers le jeu, le drame des deux reines à la rivalité légendaire commence à infuser la relation entre leurs interprètes. Le rapport de force balance, s'inverse, faisant du théâtre un ring où s'exprime toute une animosité irraisonnée, bâtie par les peurs et les récits que leur ont fait les hommes autour d'elle.
Mais d'ailleurs, où sont ces hommes ? Et où est le metteur en scène - un homme, lui aussi - qu'elles attendent sans jamais le voir venir ? Une nouvelle adaptation de la pièce Marie Stuart écrite par Friedrich Schiller, cette création est la deuxième de la compagnie Summertide.
