LAYRA RODRIGUES
Layra Rodrigues est actrice, danseuse, performer et metteuse en scène, née au Brésil. Elle a commencé à s'intéresser à l'art à l'âge de 8 ans et étudie la danse pendant 16 ans, le théâtre depuis 10 ans. Elle est formée par l'université d'Etat de Londrina, au Brésil, en Performing Arts. Elle a travaillé avec plusieurs compagnies au Brésil, dont Cie Base, Talvez Quinta, Cascalhos, Núcleo Klauss Vianna.
Layra a été invitée à participer au festival d'Avignon en 2015 par le gouvernement français et vit actuellement à Paris. Layra est titulaire d'un master 2 en Théâtre (Université Paris VIII). Ses recherches sont fondées sur le théâtre-danse proposé par Pina Bausch et la poétique de la mélancolie.
Depuis 2017, elle gère ses projets artistiques avec la Cie de danse-théâtre Vid-e-a en France.
Layra Rodrigues is an actress, dancer, performer and director born in Brazil. Her passion for Arts grew from the age of 8, she then practiced dance for 16 years and theatre for 10 years. She studied Performing Arts in the State University of Londrina, Brazil where she worked with several companies, amongst them Cie Base, Talvez Quinta, Cascalhos, Núcleo Klauss Vianna.
Layra has been invited to participate in the 2015 edition of the Festival d'Avignon by the French government and now lives in Paris. She recently graduated from Paris VIII University (Saint-Denis) with a master in Stage Arts and Live Performance studies. Her research is based on dance-theatre techniques and Pina Bausch's poetics of melancholia.
Since 2017, Layra directs several projects with Vid-e-a Dance-Theater Company in France.
